WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: IMAGO is a human development platform that combines content, training and technology to improve human happiness and productivity over time.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: In this lesson learners will understand the importance of being flexible and open to change in a rapidly evolving work environment.
Students: "I will be able to demonstrate adaptability by using the G.O.A.T. strategy to overcome unexpected challenges, adjust my plans, and find creative solutions while working with others in photography and real-world situations."
HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED: You will perform a series of lessons throughout the year!

Using G.O.A.T. Under Pressure
SCENARIO:
Your group has been assigned to photograph a student athlete outside after school. You planned to use natural sunlight and already decided on the location and poses. When you arrive, the weather has changed. It is cloudy and windy, the location you planned to use is unavailable, and you only have 20 minutes before the athlete has to leave.
In groups, walk through an example using G.O.A.T.
G – Gauge the challenge: What changed? What’s the actual constraint?
O – Open your mind: List 2–3 workable options; reframe what “success” looks like.
A – Ask questions / lean on others: Clarify expectations; identify who can help or what resource to use.
T – Tweak the plan or technique: Decide the next right step; adjust timeline, tools, or scope.
Adaptability doesn't mean abandoning the goal. It means changing the path when circumstances change!
