WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: Team Photography!
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Learning team photography is important for building professional and cohesive teams by fostering collaboration, improving communication, and creating a positive company culture through shared experiences and visual branding. It also provides practical benefits like creating a consistent, professional brand image and attracting both clients and talent.
HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED: Today we will learn, set up an do a trial run!
Have a plan in place for the type of light you envision before you even turn on your flash.
Practice frequently so that you can be confident in your gear and knowledgeable about the light you will be able to produce in different situations.
Don’t rush yourself. Master each technique before moving onto more complicated setups and gear.
You use a flash for outdoor photos to fill in harsh shadows, balance the light between a bright background and a dark subject, and control the quality and direction of light. It's especially useful when the sun creates unflattering, dark shadows on a subject's face or when a subject is backlit, ensuring both the background and subject are properly exposed.
