A: Work on the assignment

M: Stay in your assigned seat

P: Work till assignment is completed

Yearbook staff photos WEDNESDAY!

Now that the Yearbook is almost submitted, how do we want to celebrate?

Yearbook class doesn't end when the yearbook is submitted!

WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: What's next!

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Completing senior items after the yearbook is finished allows for a more focused and less rushed experience, ensuring a greater emphasis on the senior experience. This allows for more time to capture unique senior portraits, create personalized pages, and gather heartfelt messages from their peers.

HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED: Today we will discuss what comes next, look at previous items and decide how to proceed together!

Even if YOU are not a senior this year, we have work to complete!

Let's make a checklist of what we need to complete!

WE NEED TO FIND SENIORS IN ALL THE PHOTOS WE HAVE TAKEN!

SETTINGS FIRST!

Make a new folder on your desktop...

Right click on your desktop

Select NEW>FOLDER

A new folder will appear

Name the folder...

If the name is not highlighted, right click the folder name and select Rename

Name the folder: SENIORS 26

Let's change a setting!

Open CHROME

Click the 3 dots on the top right and choose SETTINGS

On the left, select DOWNLOADS

In the downloads box, click the CHANGE button (next to LOCATION)

<On the left,

Select THIS PC then DESKTOP then SENIORS 26 FOLDER

Click SELECT FOLDER (Bottom right)

FINDING PHOTOS!

We are looking for GOOD photos of ONLY SENIORS at ALL EVENTS!

Each student will be assigned a folder (or folders) to look through)

Reminder! Some folders we do NOT need to look through as they will not contain seniors (like JV etc)!

When you are done, let me know as there are a few other not yet assigned (like Prom!)

GOOD vs BAD photos!

Under Exposed, not clear!

Good! In focus, exposed correctly...SENIORS!

BAD! Under exposed, no faces :(

When you find a GOOD photo of a senior (or seniors)...

You need to download it to your SENIORS 26 folder!

Select it by clicking the circle on the top right of the image and select DOWNLOAD to download to your SENIORS 26 folder!

Click on the actual PHOTO and click the DOWNLOAD arrow on the top left to download to your SENIORS 26 folder!

Remember to also look in the FAVORITES folders!

You MUST look through ALL photos in the folders...don't just stop because you found a few!

This will be worth 100 points but you must meet a quota of photos!

MUST MEET QUOTA of GOOD SENIOR Photos (we will discuss based on each students assignment!)

When you are done with your folder(s)

Wait until you are done looking through ALL of your assigned folders!

Go to TEAMS

Click SHARED on the top

OPEN the SENIORS 26 Folder

OPEN YOUR Folder

Drag the SENIORS 26 folder from your desktop (with the images you have downloaded) into YOUR folder!

TOTAL: 100 POINTS!!!

DUE: FRIDAY, MAY 1!!!

MUST MEET QUOTA of GOOD SENIOR Photos (we will discuss based on each students assignment!)

SHORTCUT TO LOG OFF COMPUTER!

Remember to SAVE (ctrl + S) any file before doing this shortcut!

Ctrl+Alt+Delete then select SIGN OFF!

Please place HEADPHONES on your Monitors!
