What is Express?

WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: Adobe Creative Cloud Express

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Adobe Creative Cloud Express is a cloud-based media creation application that makes it easy for anyone to create impressive social media graphics, promotional videos, and single-page websites. One of its great features is that it can be accessed from any device with online access.

HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED: You will practice different tools and techniques and gradually show your success!

We need a Photo of YOU!

iPhones (and all phones!)...

Apple is particularly territorial with their products, so unfortunately we must make a quick settings change (we will make more soon!) On an iPhone the default file type is HEIC. HEIC uses more efficient compression algorithms than JPEG. As a result, it achieves smaller file sizes without compromising image quality. HEIC images often appear nearly identical to the original, yet the file size is reduced. However, HEIC is not compatable with alot of graphics programs, specifially adobe and Google!

First we need to change a setting!

If you have an iPhone, go to settings

Select CAMERA

Select FORMATS

Select MOST COMPATABLE

Let's go outside!

For this we will STAY TOGETHER!

Say hi to your neighbor (you should know them already!) They can take the photo for you (so your arm isn't an issue)! or if you must...you can take a selfie (try to keep your arm out of the shot)!

Criteria!

You MUST be the only person in the photo
Try to find a blank/open background
You must see your entire head and shoulders (at least) in the photo! Take a few! Try different facial expressions!
All must be school appropriate!
